Synthetic Fiction for the New Imagination
A Story Born From Innovation
Aetherversity began with a dream, and the tools to finally bring that dream to life.
For nearly a decade, I’d been developing the story that would become Divine Masquerade, imagining it as both a novel and a visual experience. But like many independent creators, I faced the reality of limited resources. I didn’t have the budget to hire a full art team or illustrator.
While in undergrad, I discovered a special edition of Huckleberry Finn with an illustration at the end of each chapter. It was the first time I had seen imagery woven into a novel’s rhythm. Those images stayed with me and reminded me that stories don’t just live in language; they live in feeling. I wanted to recreate that magic in my own way, writing stories that invite readers to imagine and then show them the world that waits on the other side of imagination.
Then came AI
I loved reading comics and graphic novels, but they always felt out of reach for someone like me who wasn’t an artist. When AI entered the creative landscape, it gave writers new tool, a way to transform words into images and imagination into form. What began as a traditional novel became something different: a visual storytelling medium shaped by prose, guided by technology, and grounded in human intent. It was through this process that the idea of Synthetic Fiction was born.
I built Aetherversity from that realization: that technology, when guided by vision, can expand human creativity.
The Philosophy: Synthetic Fiction
Aetherversity’s stories are created through a method I call Synthetic Fiction, a new storytelling form that merges human imagination with artificial intelligence. It’s not about replacing artists. It’s about expanding what storytelling can look and feel like in the modern age.
Just as Hip Hop redefined music through sampling, Synthetic Fiction redefines narrative through synthesis, blending words, images, and sound into living worlds. Humans remain the composers; technology is the instrument that brings the unseen to life.
Our Vision
Aetherversity exists to explore the evolving relationship between human creativity and technology to craft stories that question, awaken, and illuminate. Each project we release, from Divine Masquerade to the immersive experiences that will follow, invites readers to cross that bridge between worlds where consciousness, art, and technology converge.
We believe the future of storytelling isn’t about choosing between technology and tradition — it’s about finding balance between them.

Author’s Note
When I started using AI, I was interested in access over automation.
I wanted a way to see the worlds I had spent years writing about finally come to life.
The tools changed, but the story didn’t. Every image was guided, curated, and shaped through the same creative process I’ve always trusted: instinct, emotion, and intent.
AI allowed me to finish what I started, not because it wrote for me, but because it let me dream visually.
That is the heart of Aetherversity: the belief that creativity is not bound by tools but expanded by them.
